Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released vacancies for Senior Scientific Assistant, Junior Mining Geologist and other posts. Eligible and interested candidates can apply by visiting the official website upsconline.nic.in. Candidates are told that the last date to apply for these posts is 15 December 2022. According to the official notification issued by UPSC, vacancies have been drawn on 5 posts of Assistant Agricultural Marketing Advisor. There are 18 vacancies for Senior Scientific Assistant, 4 for Specialist Grade III, 7 for Junior Mining Geologist, 6 for Assistant Mining Geologist and 3 for Chemist. - Visit the official website upsconline.nic.in to apply for the above mentioned posts.
- On the homepage, you have to click on the One-time registration (OTR) link.
- As the next step, you will have to create a registration profile.
- Now apply for the given post according to your eligibility criteria.
- Upload the required documents and pay the application fee.
- Finally submit the application form.
- Take a printout of the application form for future use.
How many marks are required for interview
Candidates will have to give interview for appointment under UPSC recruitment drive. But before that the written test of the candidate will be taken. It is mandatory for the general category or EWS candidate to have 50 marks in the written test. 45 marks out of 100 for OBC candidates and 40 marks for SC/ST/PWD candidates are required in the written exam for interview round.
How much is the application fee?
Candidates will have to pay Rs 25 as application fee. The application fee can be paid through net banking, credit, debit card. There is no application fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates.
