In fact, the protesting students of Rohtak have decided that they will withdraw the outpatient department (OPD) services after 12 noon on November 24, 2022. Significantly, the doctors are agitating against the state government.
In fact, health services in Rohtak PGI will come to a complete standstill. At the same time, the Resident Doctors Association of the institute said in a letter written on November 22 that after several meetings with the representatives, the students have not received any satisfactory answer so far. However, the association says that the bond policy implemented by the state government on MBBS students is completely wrong. This will directly affect not only the students and doctors but also the common people coming for treatment.
OPD will remain closed until the demand is met
In this case, the Resident Doctors Association says that they have decided to stop OPD services indefinitely. In such a situation, till the demand of MBBS students will not be fulfilled. Till then OPD services will remain closed for the general public. For this, the demand of the association is that the state government should fulfill the demands of the students as soon as possible.
At the same time, the association said that the bond policy implemented on MBBS students should be withdrawn. If, even after a week of giving the ultimatum, the state government has not taken any positive steps. Due to this, it has been decided to stop OPD services.
Association gave 72 hours ultimatum to the government
Explain that the doctors had given a 72-hour ultimatum to the state government to meet their demands. After this, they stopped their OPD services on November 19 and continued their protest against the government’s bond policy. On the other hand, the medical students sitting on protest against the bond policy have decided that they will not hold classes until their demands are met.
